Destination Tea Notes: Hostess Doria Roberts takes afternoon tea seriously and consequently she expects you to arrive ahead of your reservation time to choose your tea, and to fully read your menu. Just do it, knowing that the payoff is a completely spot-on, delicious afternoon tea. Doria may have given me a “Hello? It’s clearly printed on your menu” look when I was surprised to find out we had another course coming (the Digestiv), but I would gladly forego a super-solicitous host for a taste of chef Calavino Donati’s tea sandwiches and scones.

This looks to be a wonderful destination that my friends and I would enjoy. The presentation of Tipple & Rose’s culinary offerings are presented so elegantly. Thank you Destination Tea for your review and pictures which makes this a “must try” on our list.
You’re very welcome. We’ll certainly revisit to sample their Southern High Tea.
Love this! I have to try it next time I’m in Atlanta!
