Celebrating Four Years…with A Video (Yikes) and A Freebie!

What a humbling experience it is to take on this 2020 goal for Destination Tea: publishing regular videos to our YouTube channel. Ugh. My voice! My accent! Makeup? Pass. Ironing the backdrop? Didn’t happen. Editing my verbose self down to less than 15 minutes? That process! And finally, this thumbnail!

Four Methods to Brew Loose Leaf Tea

Well, tea friends, I certainly hope you’ll be dancing and smiling along with me in this new video where we celebrate Destination Tea’s fourth birthday by demonstrating four simple methods to brew loose leaf tea at home. Watching this kitchen production, it may be hard to believe I’m a perfectionist. But, for the sake of Destination Tea, I just couldn’t take myself too seriously, or this video never would have been made. I thought you’d get a kick out of my improvised “production set” below.

Yup, it’s a plastic bowl as a sound cone.

DT Milestones and U.S. Afternoon Tea Stats

More than 10,000 tea friends are visiting Destination Tea every month and 90% of them are new every day! This is so encouraging to us, because it means that more and more Americans are discovering the joy of afternoon tea, and finding us as their online resource. At the end of 2019, we culled our directory statistics into our infographic report, “The United States of Afternoon Tea.” Check out the top U.S. cities and states for afternoon tea.
