I recently treated my niece to an afternoon tea at The St. Regis Atlanta to celebrate her 8th birthday, and as soon as we arrived upstairs at the Astor Court to check in, we noticed the decor had changed. Our server confirmed that the court where afternoon tea is served had recently undergone a makeover (see below for the before and after). What remains the same, since our first visit here in 2016, are all the reasons we often recommend The St. Regis Atlanta’s afternoon tea to locals: kind and professional service, elegant ambiance, quality teas and delectable, artful savories, scones and sweets. For a look back at our afternoon teas here over the years, please see our now updated review.

The formerly subdued salmon and dusky blue tones have been traded for more dramatic fuchsia and mustard gold upholstered chairs resting on carpeting of larger-than-life pink and magenta blooms against an evergreen backdrop.
