Tada! Our New Tennessee and South Carolina Directories Make It A Cinch to Plan A Destination Tea

Tearoom owners rock.

Calling around to Tennessee and South Carolina afternoon tea venues has been a pleasure, full of laughs, info-sharing and inspiration. we thank all the people who have generously given a moment of their time to tell their stories and ensure Destination Tea’s directories are accurate and up-to-date.

And so it is with great enthusiasm and relish that we announce the addition of two more state directories to Destination Tea’s growing list of tea venues (which now includes Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina). Next up, North Carolina!

Destination Tea Joy Storytime
One favorite moment from this month’s research was when it helped connect a Bed and Breakfast (B&B) to a nearby restaurant, both of them afternoon tea venues. The catch was, as is customary at many B&Bs, afternoon tea there is for overnight guests only. Rather than disappoint would-be afternoon tea customers who regularly knock on her door, the B&B owner asked, might we know of a local tea room where she could send them? Yes, indeed! It so happens that a restaurant less than a mile away is serving afternoon tea seven days a week, with beautiful tea trays that change seasonally. It felt great to make the introductions and we hope that these neighbors may both profit by referring customers to one another for many years to come.
