Destination Tea’s “10 Months of Giveaways”: October Prize
To celebrate our 10th Birthday, Destination Tea is giving back to the tea community, with monthly gifts from March through December. For our October gift, New England tea company Herbs Make Scents has put together a fall tea box to keep you cozy as the weather turns cool.
Teresa Michaelson, locally known as “Terri the Tea Lady,” founded Herbs Make Scents to bring people together through tea while sharing its history, traditions and simple joys. Terri handcrafts small-batch, organic loose leaf teas, sold online and in her newly opened tea shop at 110 Church Street, Whitinsville, Massachusetts. She blends teas for cafes, retailers and specialty makers across the country, her teas appearing in everything from honey to chocolate and ice cream. You may already be familiar with Herbs Make Scents from our Irish Tea Party Guide, which paired their teas with the suggested afternoon tea menu.
One winner wins: A tea sampler from the Herbs Make Scents fall collection, plus glass pedestal mug, tea ball, tea rest, tea spoon, and book to cozy up with a cuppa, in a fall-themed gift box. Each bag of these five loose leaf teas will make three cups of tea:
