Destination Tea Notes: We were enchanted from the moment we walked through the front door of Serenity Garden Tea House in West Palm Beach, Florida. It’s easy to see why this teahouse has stood the test of time, open since 1998, and owned for the last twelve years by Dubliner Audrey Farrelly, who incidentally bakes the most perfect scone. All the trappings of iconic teahouses are here: vintage lace tablecloths, shelves and shelves of beautiful teacups and teapots, inviting seating areas, antiques and chandeliers. Delectable soups, scones, lemon curd, clotted cream and brownies are all homemade, while yummy fresh bread is brought in from local baker Aioli. Our server Linna was kind and took excellent care of us, but knew to give us plenty of time for conversation. Serenity Garden Tea House is a special place, where kids of all ages may experience a touch of magic…Angela did (see below)!
